Nikesh Shukla is an novelist and screenwriter. He is the author of Coconut Unlimited (shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award), Meatspace and the critically acclaimed The One Who Wrote Destiny . Nikesh is a contributing editor to the Observer Magazine and was previously their columnist. Nikesh is the editor of the bestselling essay collection, The Good Immigrant, which won the reader's choice at the Books Are My Bag Awards. He co-edited The Good Immigrant USA with Chimene Suleyman. He is the author of two YA novels, Run, Riot and The Boxer. Nikesh was one of Time Magazineโ€™s cultural leaders, Foreign Policy magazine's 100 Global Thinkers and The Bookseller's 100 most influential people in publishing in 2016 and in 2017. He is the co-founder of the literary journal, The Good Journal and The Good Literary Agency. Nikesh is a fellow of the Royal Society Of Literature and a member of the Folio Academy.

Vinayโ€™s debut play, True Brits, opened at the Edinburgh Fringe 2014, before transferring to the Bush Theatre and Vault Festival. His latest play, An Adventure, ran at the Bush in late 2018. His first piece for television, Murdered By My Father, won the Royal Television Society award for Best Single Drama and was nominated for three BAFTAs. Vinay was named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit for his work.
He has since written for Paines Plough, ITV, Channel 4 and the BFI, as well as contributing to the bestselling collection of essays, The Good Immigrant. Most recently, Vinay wrote for series 11 of Doctor Who and is working on further projects for TV, theatre, radio and film."

Amna Saleem is a Scottish Pakistani screenwriter with projects in various stages of development. Her first sitcom, Beta Female, is on BBC Radio 4. She was in the Tez 'O' Clock writers room for Channel 4's late night satire show.
Amna contributed a lively essay to the landmark anthology, Itโ€™s Not About The Burqa, featuring Muslim women which subsequently gained national attention for its blunt honesty and humour.
Amna is also a journalist and broadcaster. Her work can be found in national publications such as the Guardian, BBC News and Glamour where she tackles topics such as race, mental health and culture. As a broadcaster she has been featured on the BBC, SKY and ITV amongst others.
Her first ever Tedx Talk is now available online and a YA novel is expected to be released next year.

She has been awarded the Stylist Rising Star award, a Big Book award for her second book In Search of Silence, and was named in Marie Claireโ€™s Top 30 Women list.
She has published two non-fiction books: Chase The Rainbow and In Search of Silence (Simon & Schuster).

Himesh Patel is an English actor known for playing Tamwar Masood on the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2007 to 2016 and starring in the 2019 romantic comedy film Yesterday.

In 2019, Patel played John Trew in The Aeronauts alongside Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones and has joined the cast of HBO limited series Station Eleven. In 2020, Patel will appear as Jordan Hatwal in the comedy series Avenue 5, starring Hugh Laurie.

Shivani is a scientist turned journalist, she has to say (for legal reasons) the opinions stated in her jokes are not that of her employer. As a comedian Sukh has performed on BBC2โ€™s Big Asian Stand Up Show and across the BBC Asian Network. In 2019 she took her debut solo show โ€˜For Sukhโ€™s Sakeโ€™ to Edinburgh, which received rave reviews including 5* from Funny Women. In 2020 Sukh will be embarking on a nationwide tour with her new show โ€˜Life Sukhsโ€™.
As an actor Sukh recently appeared in series 2 of The End of the F**king World (Channel 4) and as a regular role in GameFace (Channel 4), she is also a member of the core cast on Class Dismissed (CBBC). Previously she was a regular role on the sitcom Hospital People (BBC1) and appeared in feature film Victoria and Abdul alongside Judi Dench. Her acting credits also include Future Conditional (Old Vic), Black Mirror (Channel 4) and EastEnders (BBC).
